Tim Tyler MS, PT, ATC

Tim is the owner of PRO Sports PT has been working in sports medicine for the last 20 years and is a very accomplished physical therapist.  In 1989 he graduated from Southern Connecticut State University and started working as an athletic trainer. After receiving a Masters in physical therapy from Long Island University he started as a staff physical therapist at the Nicholas Institute of Sports Medicine and Athletic Trauma at Lenox Hill Hospital shortly thereafter he was promoted to Clinical Research Associate where he remains on staff as a consultant.

In 2001 he started a private practice in Scarsdale, NY named PRO Sports Physical Therapy of Westchester. In addition, he works as the head athletic trainer at Scarsdale High School. He is a member of the APTA, AOSSM, NATA, ICCUS, ASSET and serves on the Editorial Board of The Journal of Sport Rehabilitation and The International Journal of Sports Physical Therapy. He has published over 30 articles in peer review sports medicine journals along with writing over 20 book chapters.
In 2010 he became the first to be president of the Sport Physical Therapy Section and the American Society of Shoulder and Elbow Therapists in the same year.

Tim has recently had the great honor of being inducted into the Sports Physical Therapy Hall of Fame. 




Stephanie Squitieri DPT, CSCS

Stephanie has been working in the field of sports physical therapy for over 10 years.  A 2003 graduate from New York University's physical therapy doctoral program, Stephanie found a home at PRO Sports PT where she has been ever since.  

Stephanie is a senior physical therapist who serves as the Clinical Educational Coordinator, managing the educational experience of the multitude of physical therapy students from around the nation who choose to do their clinical affiliation at PRO Sports PT.

She is Graston certified, as well as Pilates Mat level 1 certified and has authored two book chapters and is a member of the APTA and SPTS.


Brandon schmitt Dpt,atc

Brandon is a graduate of Slippery Rock University with degrees in athletic training and a doctorate in physical therapy.  In addition to working as a senior physical therapist at PRO Sports, Brandon is also the athletic trainer at Scarsdale High School.  He is Pilates Mat level 1 certified.  Brandon has been published in multiple international journals, has written multiple Home Study Course Chapters, authored textbook chapters and has presented nationally on topics including hamstring muscle injury, barefoot running, ankle sprains, MPFL reconstruction, and concussion management.

He is a member of the APTA currently serves as the Chair of the Knee Special Interest Group Chair of the American Academy of Sports Physical Therapy.  He has recently been selected as a member of the prestigious ICCUS Society.  He serves on the Editorial Board of The International Journal of Sports Physical Therapy and is a reviewer for a number of other journals.

Daniel Villanova DPT, ATC, CSCS

Dan joined the Pro Sports Family in November of 2015. He earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from New York University in May of 2015. Dan is also a certified athletic trainer, obtaining a Bachelors of Science degree from Sacred Heart University in May 2012. Working as both a physical therapist and an athletic trainer, Dan has gained experience working with all populations. Dan has a special interest working with golfers and went on to become Titleist Performance Institute certified. Being an avid golfer himself, Dan personally knows the physical requirements it takes to perform a powerful, yet healthy golf swing.

Lauren Walczewski DPT

Lauren graduated from Fordham University with a Bachelors of Science in Biology in 2013 and continued her education at Columbia University, where she graduated with a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2017. While at Columbia, Lauren participated in research that explored the connection between lower back and hip stability as it relates to upper extremity injuries in elite overhead athletes. Lauren completed her final internship while in PT school with the Cleveland Indians, where she expanded her knowledge of treating baseball players with shoulder, elbow, and hand injuries. 

Lauren enjoys taking care of athletes of all ages, and in addition to caring for baseball players, she worked as a student athletic trainer for Fordham University's football team for 3 years. 

Dominic Violi DPT

Dominic is a graduate of Slippery Rock University where he received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Prior to this, he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. Dominic has research published in an international journal and presented findings at the American Association of Anatomists National Conference in 2019. He is currently a reviewer for the International Journal of Sports Physical Therapy.

Dominic is a competitive powerlifter in United States of America Powerlifting (USAPL). He currently holds the Pennsylvania raw collegiate records in the squat, bench press, and deadlift for the 74-kilogram weight class and is ranked 6th in the state of Pennsylvania.

​Shannon Tyler


Shannon is the co-owner of PRO Sports PT of Westchester along with her husband Tim.  As office manager she handles the day to day administrative tasks.
